Engineered for demanding industrial, automotive, and marine environments, the SBRS-(3X) G Dual-Wall Heat Shrink Tubing provides robust electrical insulation, mechanical strain relief, and permanent moisture sealing. Manufactured from a co-extruded cross-linked polyolefin jacket with an internal layer of hot-melt adhesive, this tubing creates an impenetrable barrier against water, oils, chemicals, and environmental contaminants.

How Dual-Wall Technology Works

When heat is applied to the tubing, the outer polyolefin wall shrinks uniformly at a 3:1 shrink ratio while the inner adhesive layer melts and flows. As the tubing compresses, the liquefied adhesive is forced into every void, crevice, and surface irregularity around the wire splice or connector, hardening upon cooling into a permanent, watertight, and vibration-resistant seal.
