Description
Assemble custom ribbon cable harnesses quickly and cleanly with the 2.54 mm FRC Female IDC Socket Connector. Using insulation displacement technology, this connector crimps directly onto 28 AWG 1.27 mm flat ribbon cables without the need to strip or solder individual wires.
Designed with a center polarization key and mating guide, it ensures error-free, correct-polarity connection when mating with standard shrouded box headers (DC3). Each connector includes a separate snap-on strain-relief bar that locks over the folded ribbon cable, isolating the sharp IDC contact blades from pulling forces and mechanical vibration.
